What A Day?!

Well, today I set out for a uni "trip" today with my group. The main task of the day was to find and buy 5 Eastern European fashion related magazines. This task proven IMPOSSIBLE! Literally, we traipsed up and down central London; Oxford Street, Covert Garden, Marylebone High Street checking every newsagents, book store and magazine stand along the way and found absolutely nothing. By the end of the day I was knackered with a capital K. Other than that minor detail, it was quite a fun day! We also had to find our own fashion mag to analyse (in the fashion magazine specialist store: "RD Franks"), I chose "the gentlewoman:", which caught my eye with its edgy design.

Click here to check out the magazines official website.

However, my favourite magazine I found in the store was ROLLA COASTER

Ok, of course, the initial reason I loved it was the hottie on the front cover, aka PHARRELL (and the pretty pastel colours). However, the content is really good. It is the launch of the magazine, so I suppose they have pulled out all the stops, nevertheless, I enjoyed the articles. There is such a range; music artists JLS and Pharrell, young actors, such as Zsa zsa from Eastenders and a few cast members from E4's "misfits" and fashion designers like Donna Karan- very impressive.

I particularly liked the spread of D&G's Autumn/Winter knitwear collection. It began with my quote of the day:

"The blood absorbs alcohol more quickly at a high altitude"

Heres a pik of one of a whole knitwear outfit from the collection on the catwalk. I'm loving it, chunky knits all the way!

HOT STUFF OR WHAT?!?!
