IMATS 2011

Yesterday, Nicole and I were lucky enough to attend the IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show), and we had a wicked time! I have been looking forward to going for ages now and it was lots of fun (despite the early start, which just shows my personal dedication). We got there at around 10 am, so we had all day to attend the talks and shop! The money I spent was ridiculous, however, well worth it.

There were so many different companies and brands to choose from, and so much to see. My personal highlight of the day was meeting the Pixiwoo sisters, as I am a big fan of the makeup gurus. I also really enjoyed the talk held by Koren Zanda, which talked in detail about the application of makeup; very informative. We saw lots of makeup artists at work, mostly doing theatre makeup & their skills were amazing; all in all, it was very educational day out!
