Makeup Inspiration

I have been missing from the blogging world for quite a while and my posts have been few and far between. Recently I have started a new job and have had loads of university projects to work on. Furthermore, I do not actually have a good, working camera at the moment, so I finding it quite hard to find inspiration.

Here are some pictures that have been inspiring me recently. Celebrity and fashion makeup.

Paris Hilton's shoot for V magazine. I was especially impressed with pixiwoo's makeup tutorial of this, which lead me to take a look at the shoot which was done back in July. Its a drastic turn from Paris' usual   sparkly pink makeup look, the seductive, sultry look suits her well. Taking inspiration from the sixties, this is a real glam rock chick look.

The lashes at the Louis Vuitton S/S12 show were immense. Piling on the falsies gave the models a stand out look, in comparison to the sugar sweet collection. Makeup looks were fresh and on trend for spring time.

Emma Watson wearing a gold leaf smokey eye and the golden eye looks at the Fendi S/S 12 shows. Textures are key in makeup and gold leaf is perfect to add a touch of glamour, or create a gorgeous and luxurious look. Done perfectly at Fendi by makeup artist Peter Philips.
